Snowy Mountains

"The snow gum reaches out it's branches as though to shield the mountain boulders from Winter's icy grasp. The aged tree's trunk glows red with the warmth from the sun, the ochre tones undeniable Australian.

The snow clouds drift across the icy blue sky, as the sun melts last night's fall from the grassy hills. The frost-burnt grass bends and sways with the wind, shaking the snow from its blades. The air is clear as crystal here, and Patterson's verses whisper on the breeze."
